Join us for an informal gathering and mini writing workshop with artist is residence, Apichaya Wanthiang . The evening will start with a bonfire during sundown at the beach, where Apichaya will share her observations and reflections on the past six weeks in Longyearbyen.

After which we will return to the studio for home cooked Thai food. Participants will then be invited to write a short paragraph as a response to Apichaya reading. The evening will conclude by sharing our written texts with each other.

When: Tuesday September 29th at 17:00 - 21:00

Where: We’ll meet at the beach by Svalbard Seilforening for the bonfire, then walk together to Artica for the workshop and dinner.

Dress warm enough to be outside for about an hour.
