Open call: Producer Development Programme for Rathlin Island

Artica Svalbard is pleased to share a new opportunity from the Nordic Alliance of Artists’ Residencies on Climate Action (NAARCA) and Future Island-Island.

They are seeking a Producer based in Northern Ireland to take part in a funded development programme in 2027. Through a series of sustainability-focused residencies with NAARCA partners, the selected Producer will build skills, exchange knowledge and receive mentorship. They will then be supported to establish a pilot residency programme on Rathlin Island.

The programme forms part of The East Light, a project supporting the Rathlin Development Community Association’s plans to regenerate the island’s historic East Light lighthouse as a place for research, creativity and community activity.

Applicants must be based in Northern Ireland. Priority consideration will be given to people living on Rathlin Island.

The deadline is Monday 19 October 2026 at 17:00 BST. Applications should be sent by CV and covering letter to Alex Marrs, Senior Producer at Cove Park, at alex@covepark.org.
