This weekend marks the closing of All That Comes Into Being Leans Gently, an exhibition by Artica alumni Malin Arnell & Mar Fjell at Kummelholmen, Stockholm.

The exhibition grows out of Arnell and Fjell’s long-standing collaborative practice and their two-month residency at Artica Svalbard in summer 2025, made possible through a nomination by Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum.

Bringing together remains, traces, bodies and materials, the exhibition includes documentation and material from It Passes (2025), a performance made in and along the Longyear river during their time in Svalbard; Dear Artica, a text originally written for the forthcoming Artica Anniversary Anthology (2026) and presented here in a revised version; and the five-channel video installation Always In-Between and Everywhere (2026).

Across these works, Arnell and Fjell explore queer ecologies, interdependence, vulnerability and transformation—considering how bodies, landscapes, materials and other life forms come into being with and through one another.

To mark the final weekend, Malin and Mar invite visitors to gather, encounter the exhibition and spend some time with its endings and continuations.
